CHANDLER WIGTON

Chandler Wigton was born and raised in Durango, CO, a small town in the American Southwest that lies at the intersection between the New Mexico desert to the south, and the high San Juan mountains to the north. This unique landscape was a fertile ground for him to develop his artistic sensibilities, as well as a deep connection to wilderness and the natural world. Wigton attended Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO and received a BA in Studio Art, and went on to get an MFA in painting from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. He currently lives and works in Durango, CO.
